How do we reach our neighbors for the gospel in a post-Christian culture? Whether we are in the Middle East, London, or right here on the South Shore, we all are faced with difficult cultural, social, and religious opposition or apathy to the good news! Some of our mission partners will help us apply their insights in our own environment. Refreshments & lunch provided. Please sign up for a headcount. (No childcare on Saturday)

Faith Promise Commitment

Faith Promise Commitments are pledges we make toward supporting mission partners at SSBC for 2019. We trust God to provide the funds we promise in various ways. Please make your commitment by November 4 so the Missions Committee can use all the pledges to plan the budget on time for the year January-December 2019. MAKE A PLEDGE

If you have children in any of our Children’s Ministry activities, you need to register to attend. Each year we require a new registration, even for returning families, to keep our records up to date. Please have one parent/guardian complete this form today. (one form per family for all CM events)

Heart to Heart

Thursdays, 9:15-11:30 AM
Heart to Heart is a Bible study and prayer group for women of all ages and stages. Our  inductive Bible study and DVD series this year is God of Creation: A Study of Genesis 1-11, by Jen Wilkin. A childcare program through Kindergarten is also available. If you have questions, contact Kay Paff or Becky Knight.

GPS for K-5

Sunday mornings
Happening during the sermon, GPS (Grow, Proclaim, Serve) is a dynamic, age appropriate church service for elementary age children, Grades K-5. (Children are dismissed prior to the sermon.) Please register your children in advance to help us put them in a small group and to help make Sunday mornings run smoothly. If you have questions, contact Ann Cox.

Community Bible Study

Wednesdays, 9:45 AM or 7 PM
CBS is a non-denominational Bible study for women. We meet Wednesday mornings during the school year from 9:45-11:30am, beginning Sept. 12. We are offering a Wednesday evening option this year, too! (7:00 PM) We will study 1 & 2 Corinthians. Infant-Kindergarten classes available for registrants of the morning study. GriefShare is special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. GriefShare is a good place to find comfort and encouragement during a difficult time.
