Mission Statement
The SSBC Couples Ministry exists to advance the mission of the church by strengthening Christ-centered marriage relationships. The Couples Ministry offers hope and encouragement to married couples by providing opportunities, such as a Sunday School class, small groups, special speaker events, and social events, to help meet the following objectives: a) Provide a forum for building Christ-centered couple relationships and fellowship. b) Help provide clear guidance around God’s model for marriages. c) Strengthen couples’ relationships with each other and with Christ. d) Fun! e) Provide a stepping stone for couples that are experiencing challenges in their marriage.(Please note that we are NOT counselors, but we can offer our own experiences, reading resources, counseling options, and, most importantly, prayer and anonymity.)
