“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God, for God is love.”
1 John 4:7-8
Senior adults are an important part of our church body and community. Modern seniors want to remain useful, continue to learn and grow personally and remain viable and valuable members of their families, communities and churches. South Shore Baptist Church reaches out to those 55 and older through a monthly program called Senior Fellowship. This ministry is a non-denominational outreach of SSBC. We meet monthly to provide seniors a place for fellowship, a hot home-cooked meal, and a special program that includes featured speakers, music, scripture and prayer.
Additionally, Senior Fellowship provides a support network where seniors receive close Christian fellowship and opportunities to worship, while providing a variety of programs that entertain and present general topics that will interest our group of Seniors. Past topics and discussions include: health enrichment, music groups, and missionary visits from abroad.

I will sustain you and rescue you.” Isaiah 46:4
