Faith Promise Commitment

Faith Promise Commitments are pledges we make toward supporting mission partners at SSBC for 2019. We trust God to provide the funds we promise in various ways. Saturday, December 8, 2-5 PM
Join us for an afternoon of desserts and fellowship as we prepare our hearts and minds for the Christmas season. Amy Maroney will lead us in a devotional at 3:30 PM. Surviving the Holidays | GriefShare

Sunday, November 18 or December 9, from 12:30-2:30 PM in the Library. When you are grieving a loved one’s death, the holiday season can be especially painful. Surviving the Holidays is a one day, 2-hour class that helps participants discover how to deal with emotions, what to do about traditions, helpful tips for surviving social events, and how to find hope for the future. Please join us for this encouraging class. (North River Community Church in Pembroke is also offering this class on 12/16 from 1-3 PM.)

Poinsettias for Christmas

Help decorate the sanctuary for Christmas! Beautiful two-stem poinsettias are $20/each and may be picked up at the conclusion of the 5 PM Christmas Eve Service. You can order in honor of a loved one if you wish. Order by December 10.

Family Registration for Children’s Ministry

If you have children in any of our Children’s Ministry activities, you need to register to attend. Each year we require a new registration, even for returning families, to keep our records up to date. Please have one parent/guardian complete this form today. (one form per family for all CM events)

Heart to Heart

Thursdays, 9:15-11:30 AM
Heart to Heart is a Bible study and prayer group for women of all ages and stages. Our  inductive Bible study and DVD series this year is God of Creation: A Study of Genesis 1-11, by Jen Wilkin. Sunday mornings
Happening during the sermon, GPS (Grow, Proclaim, Serve) is a dynamic, age appropriate church service for elementary age children, Grades K-5. (Children are dismissed prior to the sermon.) Please register your children in advance to help us put them in a small group and to help make Sunday mornings run smoothly. If you have questions, contact Ann Cox.

GriefShare is special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. GriefShare is a good place to find comfort and encouragement during a difficult time.
